Each year, our parish hosts a pageant to select the next Miss Creole Gumbo Queen! The winner will spend the next year traveling the state to various festivals and fairs as she becomes an ambassador for our beloved festival.

​

After the new winner is announced, but before she begins her reign, she's officially crowned at the annual Coronation Ball, alongside the new King Creole Gumbo. The ball is a formal event full of splendor and features royalty, both kings and queens, from years past.
